CHERRYZ MENDOZA pinuri ng direktor sa galing umarte 
 
ARRIVA na ulit ang Showbiz career ng The Mall Princess na si Cherryz Mendoza. Habang bakasyon, sinulit nito ang araw na makapag-acting workshop sa Ogie D production with direk Emman dela Cruz.
Katunayan, puring-puri siya ng magaling na direktor dahil sa galing nitong umarte. Tinawag pa nga siyang 'my favorite actress' na in pernes, totoo naman dahil napanood namin siya sa kanyang recital kung saan ang eksena ay 'pinagtatangkaan' siya ng kanyang bf.
Natanong namin ito kung kumusta ang kanyang acting workshop with direk  Emman?
"I really like direk Em po kasi he's a very jolly person, he makes us laugh a lot and treats us all equally but when it comes to acting and the actual workshop, super strict siya. He won't accept mistakes so kailangan perfect talaga yung ginagawa mo, if not, uulitin mo ng uulitin 'yung scene", pahayag ni Cherryz.
What types of roles do you see yourself being cast in? "Para sakin, kahit ano. Baliw man or a fine businesswoman, I'll do it. It's always good to try new things kasi you never know, malay mo pinakamagaling ka pala sa pagiging street vendor", katwiran ng magaling na teen actress.
Favorite actress umano ni Cherryz sina Liza  Soberano at Bea Alonzo.
"Aside from Liza Soberano, I really like Bea Alonzo kasi she's very good at connecting wether sa co-actor niya or sa mga nanonood. She makes her acting very relatable so ramdam na ramdam mo talaga".  

Describe your acting style?  "For me, I like to let go of my thoughts and just feel the moment. Mas natural po kasi kapag 'di ko iniisip yung kailangan gawin or sabihin".  What attracted you to begin a career as an actress?  Why do you feel this is the ideal profession for you? 
"Growing up, mahilig na akong manood ng mga palabas sa tv and I think nagustuhan ko yung fact na in acting, iba-iba 'yung characteristics ng mga roles na ginagawa. Challenging pero masaya".
What are your goals/dreams for the future?  "To be a professional actor is my goal. Ever since bata pa ako and 'di siya magbabago". 
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
"My weakness when it comes to acting po is connection. Sometimes I have a hard time connecting with the person I'm acting with kaya minsan, it feels like nag-aact lang talaga kami pero I think my strength naman is perseverance. Hindi ako yung taong mabilis mag-give up specially kung gusto ko talaga yung ginagawa ko. So I try very hard to connect with my co-actors which in the end, works naman po". What have you seen lately that’s inspired you?
"I saw this post on tumblr about an actress, sabi niya, she auditioned for a role para sa isang movie and ni-reject siya kasi she was still "too fat" for the role. Then years later, nakuha siya sa isang movie, and now, isa na siya sa mga pinakasikat na hollywood actresses of all time. It made me feel at ease kasi maybe God is just waiting for the right time to give me my big break. And that's why, I'm working harder now so 'pag dumating na yung time, I'm at my best".
What makes you a unique?
"I'm actually a shy person, I don't talk unless needed, So I think nasu-surprise ko 'yung audience kapag nag-act na ako kasi I give my best and iba yung personality ko when acting and behind the scenes".
How has your workshop prepared you for your acting career?
"Joining Sir Ogie's acting workshop really gave me an insight on what happens sa mga taping. 2 days lang siya pero buong araw talaga. From morning to evening na tuluy-tuloy umaarte, nakakapagod pero masaya dahil marami akong na-meet na new friends".
